Security Padlock
These high security sliding shackle 'block' padlocks, have hardened steel jackets. When used in conjunction with our security shrouds they make life more than difficult for even the most determined of thieves. They can be purchased in sets with one master key operating all the locks in the set or individually keyed with one key per lock.

These are the names given to an optional metal box which covers the padlock therefore making the container more secure. Under this box is a welded hasp containing a 20mm drilled hole for the padlock shackle/pin. We can offer the traditional lock box or a slim line version adding security to containers being exported.

Condensation
Condensation is unpredictable and inexplicable. Like houses a large percentage of containers do not have a condensation problem. But for reasons hard to explain there will be the odd exception. Newer containers are manufactured to an extremely high standard and are so air tight that it is not normal to have any problems. A few tips on how to prevent condensation:

1) Open and close the doors on a regular basis in order to allow the unit to breathe, especially during periods of extreme hot or cold weather.

2) Do not place damp products within the units i.e. Refrigerators or Freezers that have not defrosted properly.

3) Where possible place the container in between two other structures (which will act to insulate the unit).

However there are many preventative measures that can be taken. For example a moisture absorbing coating called Grafo-Therm can be applied to the inside roof of the unit. There are also moisture traps, drying crystals, and foam insulation panels.
