Containers and Cabins

Steel shipping containers are a simple and robust solution to all storage problems. Designed to survive a hard working life at sea, carrying up to 30 ton in cargo, they are constructed to the highest regulated standards, ensuring safety, strength and durability. Manufacturers now construct new containers from high tensile rust inhibiting Corten steel, increasing their potential life span.

As such they are ideal for conversion to anti-vandal steel site accommodation units. They can be converted to our customers specification however below is a brief description of what would be standard for our hire fleet.

+ Steel personnel door (either external or internal opening) with either sash handle and lock or cylinder lock. Plus free locking cowl for added security and anti jemmy flange / slam.
+ Steel window frames with security grills or shutters, all with integrated locking bolts and anti jemmy flange.
+ 2 x windows approx 900 x 900mm single glazed units.
+ Fully insulate using 30mm polystyrene all round.
+ Interior panels are either high quality 6mm ply boards or 15mm white or Grey faced washable melamine & trim.
+ Flooring - for our new conversions we are now using standard laminate flooring
+ Standard electrics are 2 x 4' fluorescent lights, MK consumer unit and external plug for supply and easy set up, 1 convection radiator, 2 x 13amp 2 gang sockets, 1 x light switch.
+ The units are sprayed with a rust inhibiting, rubberised container paint. This not only improves their appearance but also prolongs their life span. If provided with a RAL, BS361C or BS4800 number we can paint them them in the customers corporate colours. We can also arrange for them to be sign written if required.

Canteens

These are constructed as above with the following additions -
+ Sink unit
+ External waste pipe unit
+ Water heater or water boiler (optional)

Furniture

For hire boxes office and canteen furniture can be provided for a small additional cost.
